Alex Thompson (Music Director)
Alex Thompson is a composer, sound designer and award-winning music director. He studied Media Production and Music at UNC Chapel Hill and has done a variety of regional theatre work, most notably in his position as both Artistic Associate and Music Supervisor for Hope Repertory Theatre in Michigan. He worked Off-Broadway in 2019, programming and performing keyboard/synth for All Hallows Eve. This is his first show with Paradox Opera.
Recent credits include Little Shop of Horrors and Primary Trust at PlayMakers Rep in Chapel Hill. Outside of the theatre world Alex works as a music producer, engineer and arranger based in North Carolina, working in all genres of music.
